About Maria
Hi, I’m Maria B’alam— a Licensed Midwife, Lactation educator, and a current doctoral candidate in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
My approach weaves modern midwifery, Indigenous Mayan wisdom, biomedical knowledge, and the philosophy of Chinese medicine to support the whole person — body, mind, and spirit. I believe that conception, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum are sacred blueprints that shape not only families, but future generations.
